Overview
Unlocked (and subsequently Direct to Fan) is a free media app designed to enhance the user’s entertainment experience by integrating location-based services. With a focus on connecting users with nearby businesses, users can access new and exciting cultural, artistic, and recreational content. Direct to Fan and Unlocked transform the user’s surroundings into a hub of free media and, based on the user’s preferences, provides personalized recommendations based on surrounding offers.
Objective
Give advertisers the opportunity to increase engagement by offering distinct, free media using location-based services at their business. This allows communities to redefine how users engage with businesses and their surroundings, making the discovery of unique, free media an exciting and accessible part of everyday life.
As the user moves, the app dynamically updates its content to reflect the media available in the vicinity. The app is free for users and is supported by non-intrusive, location-based advertisements. These ads are designed to enhance, rather than disrupt, the overall user experience by advertising location-specific businesses and media.
