Overview

GALE | VisualVitals empowers users to take control of their well-being by providing access to fast, accurate, and comprehensive health data without the need for bulky and expensive peripherals. VisualVitals analyzes light reflected from the user’s skin in real-time to detect tiny, subtle colour changes. Machine learning is used to extract vital signs such as heart rate, respiration rate, HRV, SpO2, and blood pressure.

Objective

Provide users with insight into their overall health with a user-centred, deviceless interface that integrates seamlessly into GALE. VisualVitals passes health data back to the central GALE application which can then be shared with providers and health professionals to allow users to manage their health better.
